GEORGIA — A 31-year-old woman from Colchester was arrested following an incident in Georgia yesterday.
Authorities were notified of an individual slumped over the wheel in the driver’s seat of a vehicle at the Park and Ride near Skunk Hill Road with a child alert and present within the vehicle at around 8:15 a.m.
Police say they identified the driver as Christina Boucher.
Following an investigation, Boucher was arrested for suspicion of DUI-drugs and cruelty to a child, and transported to the Vermont State Police barracks for processing.
She was released on a citation to appear in court on September 14 to answer the charges.
