WEST RUTLAND — A 16-year-old was involved in a single-vehicle crash in West Rutland on Saturday.
Authorities were notified of a crash down an embankment on Clarendon Avenue at around 3:55 p.m.
According to the report, the West Rutland juvenile was headed north and swerved to avoid another motorist.
Police say the vehicle left the traveled portion of the road, striking several trees before coming to a rest.
The juvenile suffered an elbow injury.
State police were assisted on scene by the Regional Ambulance Service.
