PUTNEY — Police say they are investigating after a boat was stolen from the Putney Rowing Club in Putney yesterday.
One of the boathouses on the property was broken into and a rowing boat was taken.
The boat taken is a single seat with the sliding seat missing and may have the words “KINGFISHER” on the side in white lettering.
Anyone with information about the incident or the whereabouts of the boat is being encouraged to call the Vermont State Police Westminster barracks at 802-722-4600.
