BRIGHTON — Investigators say they are looking to talk with anyone who may have been in the area of a fire that broke out in Brighton last week.
On June 23, the Brighton Fire Department was dispatched to Railroad Street for a report of a loud explosion and fire.
When firefighters arrived, a home was completely engulfed in flames and had already started to collapse.
A second home was also on fire.
Investigators arrived later that morning and say the fire appears to have started on the main floor and quickly spread throughout the structure.
The fire also spread to a commercial building to the west.
Investigators say they have located footage and still images of a vehicle leaving the area of the fire just moments after the fire began.
They would like to speak to anyone who was in the area of Railroad Street in Brighton
during the early morning hours that day.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
