Police looking for driver after hit-and-run in Irasburg

IRASBURG — Police are looking for the driver of a white pickup truck after a hit-and-run crash in Irasburg on Thursday.

The incident took place at the intersection of US Route 5 and VT Route 58 at around 6:30 p.m.

Police say the white Dodge pickup was driving behind Carl Reindeau, of Lyndonville, and attempted to pass him while he was turning onto US Route 5.

The truck crashed into the front of Reineau’s vehicle and went off the roadway and onto a lawn.

The pickup truck fled the scene heading toward the Orleans area.

Police say the truck should have passenger-side damage on the front bumper and panels.

Anyone with information to the driver or the location of this vehicle is asked to contact Trooper Miller at 802 334 8881.
