BARTON — A 39-year-old man from Barton was killed during a motorcycle crash this afternoon.
Emergency workers responded to Barton Orleans Road in Barton at around 2:00 p.m.
Jason Eastman, 39, of Barton, was traveling north before leaving the roadway, causing him to be thrown from his motorcycle and coming into contact with a utility pole, Trooper David Upson said.
Eastman was transported by ambulance to North Country Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The crash investigation is ongoing, police say.
