NEWBURY — A 38-year-old man from Barnet was charged following an incident in Newbury on Monday.
Authorities say they were notified of a motor vehicle disturbance on US Route 302 at around 2:40 p.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that Gregory Crews operated his vehicle at a high rate of speed through a work zone, intentionally swerved toward several road crew personnel, and caused a public disturbance.
Police say multiple equipment violations will be issued in conjunction with the charges of grossly negligent operation and reckless endangerment.
