BARTON — A 26-year-old man from Barton is facing a slew of charges after crashing a stolen vehicle on Friday.
The crash took place on Duck Pond Road in Barton at around 2:15 p.m.
Police allege Trevor Coderre stole a 1996 Ford Thunderbird, lost control of the vehicle, and hit a tree.
Coderre was able to drive back to the victim’s home.
Police say they arrived at the home and spoke with Coderre about the incident, where they observed signs of impairment while speaking with him.
He was placed under arrest and is facing charges of operating without consent of owner, DUI, and criminal DLS.
He was also found to have an active arrest warrant for violation of conditions of release.
