Pedestrian transported to hospital after being hit by car in Orleans

ORLEANS — A 65-year-old man from Orleans was transported to the hospital after being hit by a car yesterday.

Police say they responded to Main Street near the Family Dollar at around 3:40 p.m. after being alerted that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.

The pedestrian was identified as Robert Nolan.

Nolan was transported to North Country Hospital to be treated for injuries.

According to the report, Laura Gray, of Derby Line, was driving the vehicle.

Trooper Michelle Archer said the crash remains under investigation and is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call 802-332-8881.
