NEWPORT — A 58-year-old man from Coventry will face charges after driving his truck through a window at Maplefields.
Police say Timothy Cicio Sr. was identified as the driver after reports of a crash at the store came in at around 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Cicio was attempting to park his truck before the crash, police say.
After going through the window, he backed out and waited for the police to arrive.
There were no injures reported during the incident, which took place near the seating area inside Maplefields.
Cicio was charged with DUI after police say he had a BAC level of .106 at the time of the crash.
