ORLEANS — Police are investigating after an armed robbery was reported in Orleans last night.
The incident took place at the Family Dollar on Main Street at around 9:15 p.m.
Police say an unknown individual entered the Family Dollar, displayed a weapon, and demanded money.
The suspect is described as a thin white male approximately six feet tall.
He was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt and black pants, and his face was concealed by a black facemask.
The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen traveling towards South Avenue.
None of the Family Dollar employees were injured during the robbery.
