ALBANY — A 59-year-old woman from Glover was seriously injured following a crash in Albany on Saturday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on LaFont Road at around 1:07 p.m.
The driver was identified as Karin Musso, who was headed north before crossing into the southbound lane and striking a tree on the west side of the road.
She was extricated from her vehicle by members of the Irasburg and Orleans Fire Departments.
Police say Musso sustained serious injuries from the crash.
She was transported to Irasburg by Glover Ambulance before being airlifted to UVM Medical Center.
