Vehicle fire in Brighton considered suspicious

BRIGHTON — The Brighton Fire Department responded to a residence on Head of the Pond Road in Brighton yesterday for a report of a vehicle fire.

The fire broke out at around 11:00 p.m.

The vehicle, a 2004 Chevrolet truck belonging to Logan Dupuis, had not been used in several weeks.

It was fully engulfed in flames when the fire department arrived and is considered a total loss.

There was no damage to other property and there were no reported injuries, police say.

Brighton Fire Chief Rick Hannux contacted fire investigators and the case remains under investigation.

At this time, investigators say the cause is considered suspicious.
