Puppy inside crate stolen in Glover, pile of ashes left behind

1 min read

GLOVER — Police are requesting the public’s help in an investigation they opened last month, after a woman in Glover came home to find that her new puppy had been stolen.

On May 14, police say they received a call from Kassidy Limlaw advising someone had broken into her residence on Andersonville Road.

Limlaw’s puppy is a mix of Australian Shepherd and Australian Cattle dog.

The puppy had been in a maroon-colored plastic crate inside one of the bedrooms.

Police say the puppy and the crate were gone and in its place was a small pile of ashes.

Limlaw also reported a couple of weeks prior to that one of her cats went missing.

Police say they do not think that the ashes were the missing pets.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Corporal Amy LeClair at 802-334-8881.
