DERBY — An 87-year-old woman from Island Pond was injured during a single-vehicle crash in Derby last Tuesday.
The crash took place on Vermont Route 105 near Bushey Hill Road at around 2:50 p.m.
Police say the driver, identified as Ouida Testut, exited the road and crashed into a culvert.
She sustained injuries and was transported to North Country Hospital by EMS.
Testut was later transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
She was the sole occupant inside the vehicle.
Police are still investigating this crash, but say that speed was not a factor.
