DERBY — A 66-year-old man from Derby was seriously injured during a single-vehicle crash on Saturday.
According to police, Michael MacFarlane was headed south on Quarry Road at around 5 p.m.
MacFarlane crossed the center line into the opposite lane of traffic and failed to yield at the intersection, crashing into the traffic and signal pole.
MacFarlane was transported to North Country Hospital.
He was later transferred to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment for what Trooper Richard Berlandy described in his report as “serious injuries.”
At this time there is no update as to his condition.
Only 2 years younger than I he grew up in Coventry known as Mickey MacFarland.
