NEWPORT — Two people were taken to the hospital following a crash that closed down Vermont Route 191 yesterday.
At around 10:40 a.m. on Thursday, police responded to the location also known as Access Road, for a report of a two-vehicle crash.
Dylan Deyo, 18, of Essex Junction, was traveling west when he crossed the center line and collided with another vehicle, police say.
Ericca Olney, 41, of Cabot, was the driver in the second vehicle.
Olney and her passenger were transported by EMS to North Country Hospital.
The crash shut down Vermont 191 for over an hour.
The crash is still under investigation.
