NEWPORT — Police are investigating the theft of a John Deere Gator that took place in Newport.
Police say the Gator was stolen from the maintenance garage at the Newport Country Club sometime between Tuesday evening, and Wednesday morning.
The Gator is believed to have headed south on Pine Hill Road after being taken.
Police say the Gator was recovered the next day.
