BARTON — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual who fled the scene of an accident in Barton last Thursday.
Police say they responded to a crash reported on Hollow Road at around 10:50 p.m.
Christopher Friend told police that his mailbox, as well as shrubbery on his property, had been hit by a vehicle going off the roadway.
Police say the crash occurred sometime between 6:30 a.m and 10:30 p.m.
Friend was not home at the time of the incident, police say.
