Minor injuries after attempted burglary in Orleans

ORLEANS — Police say they have identified the suspects in an attempted burglary early Tuesday morning in Orleans.

At around 2:30 a.m. police responded to a burglary attempt at a residence on North Avenue.

The homeowners were present at the time of the incident, and police say minor injuries were reported.

According to the report, emergency services were declined by all parties.

The offenders had already fled the scene by the time police arrived.

Police say the suspects were identified and evidence was collected on scene.

The case remains ongoing, and police say more information will be released later.

Although police have not yet released the names of the suspects, they say they are facing charges of unlawful trespass, burglary, and aggravated assault
