IRASBURG — A driver lost control of his vehicle on Route 5 in Irasburg this afternoon, striking a fence and several mailboxes.
At around 12:30 p.m. police say they received a report of a crash where the vehicle involved had left the scene.
Troopers responded to the area and the driver, identified as Ryan John, 25, had returned back to the scene of the crash.
Police say John was traveling south on US Route 5 when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed left of center and off the left side of the road, where he struck the fence and mailboxes.
Nobody was injured in the crash.
The Suzuki SX4 sustained damage to the entire frontend, police say.
