NEWPORT — The Northern Vermont Drug Task Force announced today that they arrested Kellie Peters, 31, of Newport.
Members of the Northern Vermont Drug Task Force, Newport Police Department, and Homeland Security say they conducted several controlled purchases of heroin from Peters.
As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at her Third Street apartment.
Peters appeared in court on Wednesday to face charges of sale of heroin, and possession of heroin
Following the hearing, she was detained in lieu of $150,000 bail. say they
