DERBY — A single-vehicle crash on I-91 in Derby this afternoon sent two people to the hospital.
At around 3:25 p.m. police were notified of a crash with possible injuries on the northbound side of the interstate.
The driver was identified as a 17-year-old woman from Brownington.
Police say she was driving a 2007 Subaru Legacy and traveled off the left side of the highway before heading back onto the road, crossing both northbound lanes, and striking the exit 28 sign.
The driver and passenger were both transported to North Country Hospital for what police say were “minor injuries.”
The Subaru was totaled in the crash.
