HOLLAND — A car hit a cow that wandered into the road in Holland on Wednesday.
According to police, at around 9:00 p.m. they responded to a single-vehicle crash on the Valley Road.
The driver, identified as Amanda Blake, of Derby Line, was traveling west when she struck a cow in the travel portion of the roadway.
According to a statement issued by VSP Trooper Abigail Drew, Blake and her three young children were brought to North Country Hospital by a family member as a precaution.
The vehicle, a 2014 Dodge Journey, was totaled in the crash.
Newport Dispatch put in several calls to Trooper Drew requesting more information on this incident, but calls were never returned.
