BARTON — Interstate 91 South, below exit 26 in Orleans, was closed after a tractor-trailer crashed this afternoon.
At around 1:00 p.m. police responded to the crash scene in the vicinity of mile marker 161 in the town of Barton.
The tractor-trailer was on its side in the roadway.
The driver, identified as Kyle Dalpe, 22, of Barton, was seen by emergency workers but refused treatment.
The southbound lanes of the interstate were closed at the exit 26 entrance ramp.
Vehicles were able to exit the interstate in Orleans, as the roadway was cleared.
Police say the investigation is on-going and that speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
