DERBY LINE — Police are looking for a 20-year-old man after he allegedly assaulted a woman on Monday.
At around 9:30 p.m. police responded to a report of a domestic assault that had occurred at 1150 Beebe Road in Derby.
Police say the victim stated that Colby Martin, 20, had come to her house and argued with her about custody issues.
The victim stated Martin then assaulted her while she held her 14-month old baby and in the presence of another 7-year-old juvenile, both physically and by threatening serious bodily injury.
Police say he then took her phone from her as she tried to call the police.
Authorities are currently looking for information regarding the whereabouts of Martin, and believe he may possibly be in Derby Line.
A warrant has not been issued for his arrest at this time.
