DERBY — Vermont state police have charged a man with excessive speed after they say they clocked him driving 117 mph on Interstate 91, in Derby.
Kodey Carminati-Renfrew, 24 of Orange, was arrested at around 10:00 a.m. this morning, after being stopped by police while headed north.
He was traveling in a 2015 Kia Optima Turbo at the time.
Carminati-Refrew was stopped without further incident, police say.
He was released on a citation and is awaiting arraignment in August.
