BURKE — A 40-year-old man from Quebec was hit by a car on Monday morning while riding his bicycle in Burke.

Police say that Pascal Rozon, of Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac, Quebec, was riding his bike on a trail through the woods, headed west at the time.

Collin Daulong, 29, of Burke, was headed north on Alpine Lane around a curve in the road, when police say Rozon entered the roadway without stopping.

Rozon collided with Daulong.

Police say that Rozon was vaulted over Daulong’s 2009 Volkswagen Jetta.

Rozon was transported by CALEX Ambulance to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital to be treated for injuries he sustained in the crash.
