STANSTEAD, QC — Celebrate the arrival of the warm season with Quebecois singer/songwriter Kyra Shaughnessy as she brings her unique folk-roots blend of music defined by warm, jazzy vocals to the Stanstead House Concert series.
Often compared to the likes of Joan Baez and Ani DiFranco, Kyra’s music artfully combines elements of “political folk” and sacred songs, her two main early influences, to captivate audiences of all ages and all walks of life.
The Stanstead House Concert series is a project that brings one family’s living room in Stanstead, Quebec, into an intimate concert venue. The series has been attracting top-notch musicians and drawing people from all over Quebec since it began.
Quebecois singer/songwriter Kyra Shaughnessy will be performing at the Newman Home, at 18 Chemin de Fairfax in Stanstead, this Sunday, May 17, at 2 p.m.

Cost for adults is $20, teens $10, and kids are free and welcome.
