Truck hits telephone pole in Glover, no injuries

Glover vermont truck accident


GLOVER — A truck hit a telephone pole today on Parker Road in Glover, leaving a telephone pole severed.

Anthony Phillips, 28, of Montgomery, was driving a 2005 International Truck north on Parker Road, when he drove off the roadway, striking the telephone pole.

Phillips was wearing his seatbelt and did not sustain any injuries.

The vehicle sustained moderate damage to the passenger side fender and front bumper, but was able to be driven from the scene.

Vermont Electric Company responded to the scene of the accident to tend to the severed telephone pole.
