POWNAL — A local man was cited for unlawful mischief after Vermont State Police responded to a theft/vandalism complaint on Sept. 3 at approximately 5:06 p.m.
Authorities were called to a residence on Hidden Valley Road where they discovered that 47-year-old Willard Cobb of Pownal had damaged a trail camera owned by 31-year-old Asa Rogers, also from Pownal.
Following an investigation into the incident, Cobb was issued a citation for the misdemeanor offense.
He is expected to answer to the charge at a later date and time.
The case remains under review by state police.
