STETSON — A fatal motor vehicle crash in Stetson early Friday morning has left one person dead and another trapped, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said they received a report of the crash on Mullen Road at approximately 12:10 a.m. Deputies arrived to find a lone truck that had veered off the roadway and collided with trees.
Despite attempts at life-saving efforts, one occupant was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was trapped inside the vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office has not released the names of the individuals involved and stated that the crash remains under investigation.
