Suspect sought in Roxbury assault and battery

BOSTON — Boston police are seeking the public’s help to identify a woman suspected of assaulting another person with a sharp object in Roxbury.

The incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2024, near 1127 Harrison Ave., according to the Boston Police Department.

Detectives from District B-2 describe the suspect as a Black female, approximately 60 years old, standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 200 pounds, with short hair.

Police say she reportedly struck the victim multiple times with a sharp pen-style weapon.

Authorities believe the suspect frequents the area of 1127 Harrison Ave. and the Dudley Triangle.

The police department is actively investigating the incident and urges anyone with information to contact District B-2 detectives at 617-343-4275.

The department assures that all anonymous tips will be kept confidential.
