Granby police seek driver in hit-and-run that damaged town signage

GRANBY — Granby Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident that occurred on June 21, leaving behind significant damage to town signage.

The incident took place at approximately 12:26 p.m. in the center of town when a vehicle, captured in the photos released by authorities, struck and damaged signage on the shoulder of the road before fleeing the scene.

The vehicle was last seen heading south on Day Street South.

Officials are urging anyone with information about the owner or operator of the vehicle to contact Officer Dzierzgowski at 860-844-5335.

The Granby Police Department is willing to accept anonymous tips in their investigation of this evading motor vehicle accident.
