Windsor Locks police seek suspect in CVS larceny case

WINDSOR LOCKS — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a larceny at a local CVS store on June 17.

According to the Windsor Locks Police Department, at approximately 3:30 p.m., an individual entered the CVS located at 90 Main Street and attempted to deceive the self-checkout system.

The suspect pretended to scan two large bottles of liquid Tide detergent and a package of paper towels but instead scanned a small piece of candy while acting as if the larger items were being rung up.

The police have released a description of the suspect and are requesting that anyone with information about the incident contact the Windsor Locks Police Department at 860-627-1461, attention Officer Kieselback.

The department is committed to identifying and apprehending the individual responsible for the larceny and is seeking assistance from the community to resolve the case.
