DERBY LINE — Police say a 38-year-old Holland woman is facing charges after she drove into someone’s garage early Friday morning.
At around 2:15 a.m. police responded to 1479 Holland Road in Derby Line, for a report of a motor vehicle crash.
Police identified the driver as Christy Carey.
According to police, Carey was headed eastbound when she left the roadway and crashed into a nearby garage.
“Carey then proceeded to leave the scene of the crash and travel in her vehicle a short distance before it was inoperable,” Trooper Jeff Ferrier said.
She was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and LSA and transported to the Derby barracks for processing.
I bet she didn’t have car insurance either, most of them don’t,
