WEST CHARLESTON — A 44-year-old man was cited for holding a house party in West Charleston where alcohol was served to underage drinkers on Saturday.
Police say they were tipped off about a possible underage drinking party at approximately 8:30 p.m.
According to the report, the police, along with members of the U.S. Border Patrol, conducted a search warrant at the residence around 4:15 a.m. and cited the man hosting the party.
Police identified the man as Scott Crowe, 44, from West Charleston.
Authorities say the party had more than 50 people with some individuals under the legal drinking age who were consuming alcohol.
Police issued Crowe a citation for sale or furnishing alcohol to minors and enabling minors to consume alcohol.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 11/26/2016 at approximately 2030 hours, members of the State Police were notified of a possible underage drinking party in West Charleston, VT. Members of the State Police responded to the residence and noticed well over 50 people at the residence consuming alcohol. Upon further investigation, it was determined that some of the individuals consuming alcohol were under the legal drinking age of 21. Many of the other individuals attending the party, which was being held by Crowe, entered the residence. At approximately 0415 hours, members of the State Police along with members of US Border Patrol conducted a search warrant on the residence. After investigation Crow was issued a citation for Sale or furnishing alcohol to minors; enabling minors to consume alcohol.
