NEWPORT — If you have served your community as a youth volunteer, one local organization would like to give you an opportunity to enhance your future through continued education, by assisting with educational costs.
The Jay Focus Group is offering a $500 Community Service Scholarship to a high school senior from Orleans County.
One scholarship will be offered per calendar year, and requires previous community service involvement.
The deadline to fill out the application is May 1, 2007, and the winner will be announced May 15, 2016.
The Jay Focus Group is a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit Charitable Organization.
Since its inception back in 2016, many townspeople have come together to raise funds, work on town events and look to the future of the town of Jay.
