Police still searching for missing St. Jay man

ST. JOHNSBURY — Police are still searching for a 45-year-old man from St. Johnsbury who went missing on January 9, 2016.

Henry Morey was last seen at 48 Eastern Avenue (Republican Block) in the Village of St. Johnsbury. Police say he was at this location at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Morey may have been wearing black sweat pants, a black or dark color jacket and hiking style boots.  He also had a camouflage hunting style backpack with him. 

Morey is a white male approximately 5’11” and approximately 195 pounds. He had a mustache and otherwise clean shaven face when he was last seen. He has brown eyes and black hair. 
 
Police are asking anyone with abandoned buildings or outbuilding in the St. Johnsbury Village area to check their abandoned buildings and sheds.

The Vermont State Police have been investigating this missing persons case since it was reported on January 16.
