Rash of break-ins hits Troy, Big Bear Real Estate burglarized

TROY — Police say that four incidents of burglary and larceny took place during a crime spree that happened in Jay and Troy Tuesday night.

In total, one business, one construction site, and two residents were targeted during the rash of break-ins.

Police say that Big Bear Real Estate was burglarized sometime between 6:45 p.m. Tuesday night, and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A theft also occurred at a Whitcomb Construction work site located on Leavitt Circle in the Town of Jay.

Two residents in Troy were also targeted, with a police report listing the victims as Daniel Pepin, 40, at one location, and Gregory Dunn, 36, at the other location.

Police say that numerous items were stolen in each incident, and are requesting that anyone with any information regarding this crime spree contact the Vermont State Police Derby Barracks.
