After the initial collision, Savage’s truck continued sliding, hitting Hall’s truck a second time. Hall’s vehicle then tipped sideways on its passenger side, coming to an uncontrolled rest against a rock ledge.

According to a statement issued by police, four people were taken to North Country Hospital for the following injuries:

Connie Savage of Jay – back pain.
Duane Ruggles of Jay – back pain.
